The International Symposium on the Teaching of Turkish and the Place of Turkish Culture in Intercultural Communication is open to the participation of academics, graduate students and researchers.
1) Participation and application principles
- Each participant may submit only one paper to the symposium.
- Participation in the symposium is free of charge.
- Abstracts and full papers must be submitted via the symposium application page between the dates specified in the symposium calendar.
- Presentation preference (face-to-face/online) must be specified during the application process.
2) Scientific and ethical principles
- Submitted abstracts must be original studies that have not been previously presented or published anywhere else.
- Abstracts must be prepared in accordance with the Symposium Writing Guidelines available on our website and the Turkish spelling rules established by the Turkish Language Association.
- Abstracts that do not meet the application requirements will be rejected without being submitted to the scientific committee.
3) Presentation languages and types
- Symposium languages are Turkish, English, and German.
- Presentations can be held in person or online; the preference must be stated in the application.
4) Logistics and Visa
- Travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participant.
- A valid visa is required for the duration of the symposium.
5) Publication
- Papers presented at the symposium and whose full texts are submitted will be published as a book of proceedings by Yunus Emre Institute.
- Participants who submit their abstracts and full texts through the submission system are deemed to have consented to the publication of these papers.
