About the Symposium

The symposium, to be held for the first time at the Cologne Yunus Emre Institute, will bring together studies that address language and culture holistically, understanding that Turkish is not just a means of communication but also an element of identity, belonging, and cultural interaction. The aim is to share contemporary approaches on topics such as teaching Turkish as a native and foreign language, folk culture, diaspora experiences, and cultural diplomacy.
